Kick Start, U7, and U8 age groups will remain unchanged and continue with the normal programs that we have offered in the past.  This covers children born between  1/1/2014 - 3/1/2018.

For U9 and up (birth years 2007-2013), we are trying an alternate plan for the Spring season only, which will involve a weekly clinic led by Wellington High School's soccer coaches with the assistance of their teams and an evening of the kids playing smaller games against other WSA players within the program.

While we feel that the kids have been having an overall positive learning experience in past seasons, we also feel that there is more that we, as an association, can offer to the kids.  This "alternate plan" is the result of these discussions.  We believe that this will help our players further develop their foot skills, passing, striking, etc.  It will also strengthen the link between our program and that of Wellington High School, which will help to prepare our players for transitioning to the soccer program at WHS or their home high school.
